Boat work is never really completed – one must get to a point that the important things are done (ie, safety related) and many of the others are ‘mostly complete’. I’ve reached this stage.
The bottom painting is complete, electrical system is upgraded, rudder gudgeon rebedded, hull and topsides buffed & waxed, trailer reconditioned, standing & running rig inspected & upgraded and much much more.
Now I’ll complete moving out of my apartment and head for the Salish Sea.
Hi Dave,
I came across your forum post about your upcoming Salish Sea Cruise on the TS forum and that led me to your blog. I enjoyed reading though your posts. Some great info. I found the posts about your trailer especially poignant since I’m in the middle of repairing my 40 year old Trail-Rite including replacing the axle.
I look forward to future posts as your adventure unfolds. Are you planning to be in PT for the start of R2AK? If so, maybe we’ll see you there.
